Burlington, Ontario
On behalf of the Executive, our fantastic volunteers and our staff, I would like to welcome everyone to Branch 60. We are YOUR Legion, open to everyone. You do not have to be a member to visit our lounge & museum and enjoy our hospitality including our pool tables, dart boards and entertainment. We encourage everyone to consider joining and volunteering for such activities as our Friday Fish & Chips. Enjoy yourself and we hope to see you often. - President Murray Sutherland
General Meeting with Elections - April 30, 2025
There will be a General meeting (with Elections) on Wednesday April 30th at 7:00 PM at the Legion Branch 60 (lounge).
Please attend if you are a current Burlington Legion Member.
Bring your red card or your digital card or your receipt for your 2025 dues.
The Membership Committee will be present at 6:00 pm for members who wish to renew that evening.

Canada Netherlands Friendship Day - May 24
The Mayor of Burlington is extending an invitation to all Veterans and Legion Members to attend the event to remember the Liberation of the Netherlands by Canadian Service People in 1944 and 1945.
10:00 am – 11:30 a.m. - Event
11:30 a.m. - Reception
LaSalle Park Pavilion, 50 North Shore Blvd. E.
This free event, open to the public, will mark the 20th anniversary of Burlington’s twinning with Apeldoorn — a friendship rooted in a shared history, remembrance and the promotion of peace.
Features of the free event include:
Welcome messages from Mayor Marianne Meed Ward, Mr. Harman Idema, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and Elizabeth Witmer, former Deputy Premier and Past Chair, WSIB
Performances by the Burlington Teen Tour Band and Enchorus Children's Choir
A special exhibit of artwork created by Burlington and Apeldoorn elementary school students.
Remembrance Day - Monday November 11th

Our current Lounge hours are:
Sunday - NOON to 6 p.m. (Plus social dance)
**NEW** Monday - Closed (except for special events)
Tuesday & Wednesday - NOON to 11 p.m.
Thurs., Fri. & Sat. - NOON to Midnight
(Thursday Karaoke runs 6:30-10:30 pm. Friday and Saturday entertainment runs 7-11 pm. Sunday night dances upstairs 7-10 p.m.)

Our facility is proud to be fully accessible thanks, in part, to the Ontario Trillium Foundation. It granted Branch 60 $147,000 for capital improvements: the new membrane roof and replacement of four old repair-prone refrigeration units. View the media release HERE.
